On Thursday, February 15, 2018,

we received a phone call from His Royal Majesty Cellach, King of the Middle Kingdom, informing us of the Crown's decision to appoint us as the next Baron and Baroness of North Woods. We both, Áindle and Aliyah, would like to thank the populace of North Woods for their participation in the Baronial poll and for their support. We are stunned, humbled, honored, and excited to have been selected to serve in this capacity. We look forward to the celebrations and challenges to come and are touched and grateful for all the congratulations and support we have received.

There are many that have contributed to the preparation for the Baronial Investiture. Some individuals we would like to thank include:
Thank you to TRM Cellach and Vukasin for putting their trust in us by bestowing upon us the honor of being Baron & Baroness of NorthWoods and allowing the Investiture to take place in NorthWoods, in our home Canton, at our event! This made what would have been a very special day anywhere even more incredible.
Baron Max and Baroness Janet Scheltema (Gwenllyen TheMinstrel) for their service and for setting the bar high.
Mistress Anthoinette Martel for being our designer and seamstress and making our garb.
Mistress Elizabeth Burton (Jervisa Wainwright) for Aliyah’s gorgeous beaded veil and for working the Scribal table at afternoon court.
Mistress Lisa N Paul Phillips (Alaina N Alexander Blackram) for the Baronial and Canton banners.
Lord Octavio (Jay Warner) for Áindle’s belt.
THL Lucia Greenstone for taking over Smelly Science.
Foresters Godhit and Aeffe for working the Scribal table at afternoon court.
Lord Phil Swift (Alonso Mano Negro) for taking our portrait and our Baronial Family Portrait (which covers three generations, but is unfortunately missing our earlier ancestors).
The Barons and Baronesses who were in attendance and who were so generous in their welcome, advice, and support.
Lady Siri for The Roaring Wastrels for their incredible talent and willingness to share beautiful music.
Lord Morgan Enstarr for the much needed Moroccan coffee.
Lord Vigfuss Mjoksiglandi for being willing to do whatever needed to be done.
The members of the Canton of Wealdlake who made this event possible through their support and hard work.
And last but not least, everyone who came to It Takes My Child to Raze a Village and who continue to make the Dream a reality.
Thank you! Thank you!

If we have missed anyone, please know that we are very grateful. The oversight is unintentional and we are profoundly sorry. We are still quite overwhelmed.
